Sean Fairfoul

In recent years Sean has been focused on major retail, commercial and mixed-use developments.  Specialising in developing strategy he has successfully managed the obtaining of approvals for a range of outcomes.  This has been facilitated through his thorough understanding of the needs of major developments and clients, and being able to navigate the approval processes. 

 

While Sean has undertaken a range of major projects, with a focus on the delivery of retail and commercial development, Sean is a capable of dealing with all planning issues.

 

Sean also has significant experience within the State Administrative Tribunal as a highly regarded advocate and expert witness, together with exposure to District and Supreme Court proceedings.

• Preparation, lodgement and obtaining approval for various Activity Centre Plans, including Clarkson, Melville City Centre and Karrinyup.

• Obtaining approvals for various major retail development applications, including Butler, Ellenbrook Central, Garden City, Halls Head, Karrinyup, Kwinana Hub, Mandurah Forum, Morley Galleria, Ocean Keys, Secret Harbour, Wanneroo Central and Warwick.

• Obtaining approvals for various commercial and retail development applications, including various ALDI Stores, Murdoch Medical and Knowledge Precinct, Harvey Norman, Masters Home Improvement, Costco, Woolworths, PetStock, and various showrooms / bulky goods developments.

• Preparation, lodgement and approval of major development applications, including Canning Beach Mixed Use towers (Applecross), Karrinyup Residential Towers, Composting Facility (Nedlands), Goldfields Grass Golf Course (Kalgoorlie), various extractive industries, various industrial developments, various service stations and various residential applications.

• Preparation and lodgement of various scheme amendments for a range of purposes & localities, including Citywest, Wandi Special Rural, Karrinyup Regional Centre, Bibra Lake Industrial and Booragoon.

• Obtaining approvals for various subdivision applications in various localities, including Jane Brook, Dayton, North Fremantle, Carabooda, Karrinyup, Morley, Booragoon and Mosman Park.

• Port Hedland Housing Provision – Investigations and State Government Negotiations

• Representation in the Supreme Court, District Court and State Administrative Tribunal on behalf of private industry and Local Government Clients.

• Construction Management – Peter Carnley Anglican Community School, Wellard – Stages 2, 3, 4 and BER Projects.
